When you need many passwords at once
Provisioning user accounts, seeding test data, printing WiFi vouchers or setting first-time passwords for a class of students all call for lots of unique passwords. Set how many you want, pick the length and character types, and export the list in one go.
Lists of more than 50 appear in a text box so the page stays fast. Use TXT for one password per line, or CSV to open the list in a spreadsheet.
Handling a password list safely
- Treat the downloaded file as sensitive and delete it once the passwords have been handed out.
- Require people to change a first-time password when they sign in.
- Never send a password list by plain email. Use your identity provider’s invite flow or an encrypted channel.
Frequently asked questions
Are bulk passwords as strong as single ones?
Yes. Each password is generated independently with the same secure randomness, so there is no link between them.
Is there a limit?
The generator makes up to 5,000 at a time. For more, run it again or use the terminal command on this page.
